A mouse, alone, at 10,781 feet.
Mountaineer and ultra runner Dylan Coughran reached the true summit of Mount Baker expecting the usual company: wind, altitude, maybe a mountain goat if he was lucky. Instead, he found a mouse.
Not a marmot. Not a pika. A mouse, alone, at 10,700 feet, in a place with no cover, no food source, and no business being survivable for something that small. His caption said it best:
"Thought maybe id see a mountain goat up here not a damn mouse."
The clip did what real moments do when the internet finds them — it spread on its own. No campaign, no paid promo. Just people who saw a tiny animal thriving somewhere it had no right to be, and felt something.
